I'm blessed to say that 2021 marks my 13th season working in the sports industry. Here is some quick background information on how I got here...
Growing up in San Luis Obispo, CA, the only things that ever mattered to me were family and sports. As the eldest of 4, I knew from a young age that I felt the most fulfilled when I was looking out for other people. I also knew that sports and competitions were my greatest passions and destined to be a part of my life forever. I grew up playing football, baseball, and basketball and was fortunate to win a USABF National Championship as an outfielder for the San Luis Obispo Rangers club baseball team.
From there I headed south to the University of San Diego, where I walked on to the FCS level football team coached by former 14 year NFL veteran quarterback and former San Francisco 49ers Head Coach Jim Harbaugh, among other talented coaches.
After college, I immediately enrolled in law school at Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, where I graduated Cum Laude in 2 years by accelerating my course of study and passing the California State Bar on my first try, officially becoming a licensed attorney.
By this time I had already been working for my mentor, 20 year NFL Agent veteran, and CEO of Alliance Sports, Rocky Arceneaux. I got my feet wet as a Salary Cap Analyst and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) expert, helping Rocky negotiate a 6 year 48 million dollar deal for left tackle Donald Penn, which made him the highest paid Tampa Bay Buccaneer on the roster.
Since then I have represented multiple NFL Draft 1st Round picks and negotiated over a quarter billion ($250M) dollars of NFL player contracts as an NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor, including breaking multiple NFL records in 2019 by making Dallas Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliot the highest paid running back in NFL history, and the first $100M dollar running back in NFL history.
